From Thursday 14 September there will be very noisy building work taking place in the Central Library. This work is expected to last for about two weeks. The work involves cutting two holes in the concrete walls on Level 3. This work is necessary to enable the contractors to begin the re-fit of Level 3 for the relocation of the Humanities Department.

While this work is taking place, it is likely to be very noisy throughout the whole library building. You may prefer to find alternative places to study during this period.

The Library apologises for the inconvenience this necessary building work will cause.
