Store service in Central Library April 27, 2007

This is to remind you that as of this afternoon, the Science Museum Library will cease to run a store service collection for materials in the Central Library store. This is to facilitate removal of parts of the Science Museum Library collections to SML Swindon.
As such any material you wish to access from the service will need to be submitted as an ILL request. Please make a note on the form that it is a periodical that is located within the store.
As theses will remain accessible, there will be a store collection service twice a day from the Level 2 Help Desk. For further information, see the store service website.

We now have a current subscription to the Springer Russian Library of Science which also includes a number of titles from Allerton Press.
Titles include Plasma Physics Reports, Doklady Mathematics, Doklady Physics, Astronomy Reports, Technical Physics and Optics and Spectroscopy.
To see a full list of titles, see the Imperial College London Library latest news page about new journal packages.
Titles will soon be available via the library catalogue and the A-Z journals list, but until this time, you can access them by clicking on this link to the Springer Russian Library of Science page or by searching the Springerlink website.
Access is via IP recognition on campus and via ATHENS DA off campus. For more information regarding access methods, see the Library passwords and access page.

JSTOR Mathematics & Statistics collection now available online April 20, 2007

We now have access to the JSTOR Mathematics & Statistics collection. This is an electronic archive of back volumes of over 40 journal titles including a number of American Mathematical Society and SIAM titles.
For a complete list of available titles (including volume and year information) see the JSTOR ‘Currently available journals – Mathematics & Statistics collection‘ page.
Titles will soon be available via the library catalogue and the A-Z journals list, but until this time, you can access them by clicking on the link above, or by searching for article information via the JSTOR search options, basic search, advanced search or article locator.
