The Graduate School of Engineering and Physical Sciences is running the following workshop on Monday the 26th November:
The Information Landscape: Introducing ISI Web of Knowledge
The ISI Web of Knowledge Service for UK Education is the new platform by which users can access all ISI products. ISI Web of Knowledge contains both multidisciplinary and specialised content. It covers journals, proceedings, current contents, journal citations, patents and chemical structures.
The workshop will comprise four elements, each taking approximately 15 minutes:
- An introduction to Web of Knowledge (PowerPoint presentation)
- Web of Science (hands-on session);
- Citation searching (hands-on session);
- Cross-Searching facility (hands-on session)
The workshop will be fully supported with notes for the PowerPoint presentation and workbooks to accompany each element of the hands-on session.
