I still have money left in my physics and maths budgets for the Central Library collections.
So please, if there are any books out there – that would be useful for any research or teaching within your research area (including books to support undergraduate projects) – please let me know so I can purchase them.

Please check the library website opening hours for information relating to hours over the Easter break.
A reminder that the Mathematics Department Library will be closed from Thursday 20th March until Tuesday 25th March, re-opening on Wednesday 26th March with vacation opening hours of 9.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

We now have access to 21 ebook titles published by Wiley.
They are catalogued individually on the library catalogue, and via the databases and e-books a-z list

Central Library closure 30 June – 6 July 2008 March 3, 2008

The ground floor refurbishment of the Central Library will be completed by June 2008.
To facilitate the moving of staff and equipment as as quickly and efficiently as we can, the Central Library will be closed to all users for the week immediately after the end of the summer term
Central Library closure week:
Monday 30 June – Sunday 6 July, inclusive
The library will re-open with its new ground floor entrance on Monday 7 July 2008.

I have noticed that a number of people have been struggling to find electronic copies of journal articles that they are trying to find. As such, I decided that it would be worth putting together a quick guide on how to search for the full text of a specific journal article.
