Recommended textbooks for undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses October 2, 2008

Each year in May, the Library puts out a call to teaching staff from the current academic year to ask them to re-check and re-submit their recommended textbooks for the next academic year.
We need this information to ensure we have enough copies of all textbooks in stock for our students to use. It also allows us to check for updated editions of current textbooks.
If you need us to resend last years list, please contact us, either through the comments section of this blog, or Email Jenny
If you were not teaching last year, or were teaching a different course, can you please fill out the form found here or at least email me a copy of the list or a link to a URL where the list can be found.
We also need to know if there are no suggested textbooks for a course.
Please let me know if you have any questions about this process.
Wellcome Trust Open Access grant renewed October 2, 2008

Wellcome have provided the College with a third open access grant to pay for the open access publication fees of its researchers. Wellcome will be contacting researchers in the next few weeks to remind them about open access. Please see below for the leaflet on Open Access, produced by the trust.
