Christmas opening hours 2011

The Central Library will be closed for the Christmas vacation from 13.00 on Friday 23rd December 2011 and will reopen at 08.30 on Tuesday 3rd January 2012.

CRCnetbase subscription cancelled

We no longer have access to the CRCnetbase mathematics and statistics collections due to a huge increase in subscription costs. If you find you no longer have access to a key CRCnetbase title that we did have access to before, please let us know and we will investigate purchasing alternative editions.

We now have access to the Springer Mathematics & Statistics e-book collection

We have just purchased the Springer Mathematics & Statistics e-book collection, covering titles published between 2005 and 2011. This comprehensive collection includes titles released by Springer during these years.

Benefits of this collection:

Key mathematics and statistics content
Unlimited access and use (no Digital Rights Management)
All available on the SpringerLink platform
Perpetual access and ownership
MyCopy – order a black and white paperback edition direct from SpringerLink for £24.95

This collection is made up of 2,340 titles.

These e-books can currently be accessed via SpringerLink though we will also be adding the collection to Library Search over the coming weeks.
